Google Phone Unveiled Today

Today Google announced the will be selling a new phone through T-Mobile for $179 on October 22.  The phone is $20 less than the IPhone and looks like a T-Mobile SideKick.  The special thing about this product is it is designed to run like any computer, running any type of software you can think of.  The G1 come with instant messaging, email, maps, music player, camera and the plans for the phone will be cheaper than the IPhone.  

It will be interesting to see if as many people wait in lines and if there is as much hype as there was for the first IPhone.
