Google phone?

In the BITS section of the New York Times, a reporter explained that the T-Mobile will present it's phone based on Google's Android software on Sept. 23 in New York at a press conference. 

At the press conference they will unveil it's pricing, release date and more information having to do with the software and phone plans. 

They are already saying it's competitors are the iPhone and BlackBerry. How much will Google make off of this I wonder? I know that the BlackBerry internet charges are somewhat high, averaging about $30...?

Yeah, phone companies are always trying to come up with "innovative" gadgets because the market for new phones is basically saturated. But a lot of their profits comes from Internet and other contract charges anyway...
