Dogster, Inc. created Dogster and Catster in 2004 where pet owners can make a profile for their animals including pictures and ways for owners to communicate with each other. Complete with statistics of where the most states that pets are owned, the most popular female and male canine names, and the most popular countries, these sites can connect man's best friend from the United States to Indonesia and Germany. Over 600,000 pets are on the Dogster site with about 750,000 members and over 4 million uploaded photos. Members can buy accessories for their dogs, look into adoption, and find helpful tips on training.
